JAY MULLER

Director, Choreographer, Costume Design

Mr. Muller traveled with Re-Creation’s 11th and 12th editions (1985-1987) before returning to Susquehanna University to complete degrees in Communications/Theater Arts and Spanish.  After graduation, Mr. Muller relocated to central Illinois where he taught Secondary Spanish and English in the Unit #40 School District in Effingham, IL.  While an instructor in Illinois, Mr. Muller started the school’s only show choir and fostered and grew the fledgling musical program.   He assumed directorship of Re-Creation in 1993 and continues to tour with Re-Creation as the administrative lead, emcee, costume and set designer, speech writer and spotlight vocalist.  Mr. Muller has also served as a motivational speaker for local and national groups, choreographed local and regional theatrical productions and trained RC graduates who have achieved success in commercial music and performance including National Tours, Broadway, Cruise Lines, National Praise & Worship Venues, Theme Parks and Theater!   Mr. Muller has helmed more than 150 distinct entertainment/gospel shows and produced as many accompanying CD/DVD projects, for the group.  He has also produced two audio projects with his friends in The Traditions Quartet.  Mr. Muller lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, Mary and their three children, Emma, Ethan and Elliot.  All three Muller children have performed with Re-Creation at some point and the entire family produced the very successful “A Muller Family Christmas” audio CD project.

 

MARY MULLER

Executive Vocal Director

Mary has recorded three full length CD projects since earning her degree in music and vocal performance from Greenville College.    Mary has written more than 40 original songs used for her own projects as well as for Re-Creation’s various sacred programs.  Mrs. Muller is a recognized associate of Brett Manning Studios / Singing Success in Nashville, TN., and maintains a thriving vocal studio of students who have come from as far as New York to take instruction.   Mrs. Muller executive produces the Re-Creation recording sessions and provides all cast members with private and group voice instruction.  Mary’s graduates have achieved success in all aspects of commercial and ministerial music!  She has also served as a spotlight soloist for the Re-Creation Christmas Season for the past 25 years and is highlighted on many of our special alumni projects!

JEN KRATZER

OFFICE MANAGER

Jen is entering her 17th year of service with Re-Creation.  Jen brings considerable banking and managerial expertise to her role as she deftly handles all aspects of RC administrative and financial representation!   Jen facilitates all of our online sales, ships Re-Creation media to Vets Homes and Hospitals nation-wide, oversees independent audits each year and maintains tax receipts for donors.  Jen serves as our front-line of contact in the RC office!

Jen also organizes and implements all the details for RE-CREATION SALUTE, making personal contact with medical professionals across the country and making sure our presentation is tailored to each and every requesting Veterans Home or Hospital!  Jen also books and manages all of our live-show bookings for Alumni Tours!  Basically, Jen does it all!

CLAY COLLEY

VOCAL ARRANGEMENTS

Clay Colley holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance as well as a Master of Music Degree in Jazz Studies from Youngstown State University. He has been composing and arranging since age fifteen, with a diverse portfolio consisting of jazz and pop-based compositions, sacred instrumental and choral music, middle school and high school band music, and solo piano music.  He also is married to former Re-Creation 39 cast member Carolyn Baer.  The couple has one son, Bo!

MARK STEPHENS

INSTRUMENTAL ARRANGER / BAND LEADER

Mark Stephens began his professional musical career at the age of 16.  His band “Full House,” formed in 1980, has opened shows for rock and country legends and they’re still performing today. Mark is the pianist and a band leader at the “Allen Baptist Church,” a member of the KY Opry, where he co-produces the show.  Mark has arranged, produced and played countless recording projects!

XAVIER FRANCIS

MUSICAL ENGINEER

Xavier toured in Re-Creation’s 17th and 20th Editions and has been in the music industry for almost 20 years. Xavier earned his degree Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and in 1997 started Mind’s Eye Music Studios.  As owner and operator of Mind’s Eye, Xavier has done session work as a musician, arranger, engineer and producer for countless groups, orchestras, myriad work ranging from plays and music videos, to documentaries and independent film.

ERIN STIEFEL

BALLET / DANCE TRAINER

Erin is a seasoned dance professional having received a full scholarship to the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City. Erin’s professional contracts took her to Switzerland and Germany to the Basel Ballet and the Operballett Der Stadt Bonn, in the latter achieving the rank of principal dancer. Erin remained with the Zurich Ballet through 1996. She now lives in Lewisburg, PA where she has founded Stiefel Steps.
